Research & Planning
To know what all you want to achieve through your website is important to us. We spend time to understand all your requirements and start the work once the scope of work has been finalized and signed off.
We spend time with you to get the requirements right. The interaction will be over the email, phone and where possible, personal meetings. Using the information we collect on your project, we will create a specification document that details how things will work and the expected timelines for delivery.
Without proper planning, execution will become extremely difficult if not impossible. Some of our clients have told us that they have worked with vendors who did not address this aspect of web design/development with the criticality it requires. The end result was a web product which the vendor thought will address the client’s needs. This couldn’t be more wrong. Although what the client wants is important, what is more important is what the clients of the client want.
There are 3 important components of our Research & Planning process – what do you want from the websites, what would your audience want from the website and what is the positioning of your competitors.
- Goals: We discuss with you about your short and long term goals. For some, this might be about branding. For others, it could be selling a product or a service. For your clients, some of the common goals are- intuitive navigation, ease of use, finding the correct product or service quickly and a seamless and pleasurable user experience.
Whatever your goals are, we make sure that our efforts are in the direction that makes these goals well defined and attainable.
- Competition: We analyze your competition for what they are doing right or wrong. If they are doing something great that we have missed out on, we incorporate it in the project. If there are some customer pain-points that they have missed out on, we ensure that these pain-points are addressed in through our web project.
Specification Document
Using the information we collect early on in a project, we produce a specification document that details how things will work and when you can expect them to be delivered.
